Ms. C. Munemo is a Lecturer in the Department of Health Sciences within the Faculty of Health Sciences and Technology at the Women’s University in Africa. She is an experienced nursing and health sciences educator with a strong academic and clinical background in nursing, oncology, palliative care, and clinical epidemiology.
She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the Women’s University in Africa, focusing on advancing knowledge and research in health sciences and healthcare delivery. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Zimbabwe, which has provided her with advanced expertise in research methodology, disease surveillance, evidence-based healthcare, and public health practice.
Ms. Munemo obtained a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Nursing Education from Bindura University of Science Education, equipping her with specialized skills in teaching, curriculum development, educational leadership, and professional mentorship. She further enhanced her clinical expertise through a Diploma in Oncology and Palliative Care from the Parirenyatwa School of Nursing, where she developed competencies in the management of cancer patients and the provision of holistic palliative care services.
Her foundational nursing qualification is a Diploma in General Nursing obtained from Harare Central Hospital, which established her strong clinical and patient care skills. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in healthcare education, research, and service delivery.
Ms. Munemo’s professional interests include clinical epidemiology, nursing education, oncology nursing, palliative care, public health, health systems strengthening, and evidence-based practice. She is passionate about nurturing future healthcare professionals, promoting high-quality patient care, and contributing to the advancement of health sciences through teaching, research, and community engagement.
