WOMEN’S UNIVERSITY IN AFRICA NOTICE OF THE 19^TH GRADUATION CEREMONY

The Women’s University in Africa Council and Senate  advise that the 19^th Women`s University In Africa’s Graduation Ceremony will proceed as follows:

1. VENUE :                MANRESA CAMPUS
2. DATE :               27 October 2023
3. TIME :               All graduands and guests are expected to be seated by 0800Hours.
4. REHEARSALS

TIME               :                1400Hours

 

5. GRADUATION FEES

Please ensure that payments are made timeously to reflect in the University Account no later than 15 October 2023. No student is allowed to pay the graduation fees without clearing fees arrears.

6. GRADUATION REGALIA

Only graduands with the approved regalia in terms of gown design and hood colours shall be allowed into the graduation arena.

 

7. DRESS CODE

Preferably dark colours i.e. gentlemen should be in black/navy blue suits, white shirt and a matching tie while ladies may put on black/ navy blue skirts and white blouses. For ladies, the heel size should be such that one can comfortably walk to and from the graduation podium.

 

8. GUESTS

Each graduand shall be allowed to invite TWO (2) GUESTS only. Entry into the graduation arena is strictly by invitation. STRICTLY NO CHILDREN ALLOWED. NO INVITATION CARD, NO ENTRY.

9. COLLECTION OF ACADEMIC REGALIA AND GRADUANDS AND GUESTS INVITATION CARDS

Invitation cards and graduation regalia shall be available for collection from all Campuses from 5 to 25 October 2023. Thereafter, collection shall be done at the graduation venue on

26 October 2023. Graduands are expected to produce proof of payment of graduation fees.

10. FEES ARREARS

         All owing graduands are expected to clear fees arrears on or before 15 October 2023. Only paid up graduands, shall be allowed to attend the 27 October 2023 Graduation Ceremony.    NB:  ALL OWING GRADUANDS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PAY THE GRADUATION FEE BEFORE              CLEARING FEES ARREARS.

 

11. PHOTOGRAPHERS

The only accredited photographer, Gold Print shall be allowed into the graduation arena to take photographs for a fee upon prior arrangements with the graduand.

 

12. COLLECTION OF TRANSCRIPTS AND CERTIFICATES

Graduation transcripts and certificates shall be available for collection from the Faculties at the graduation venue. To collect these, graduands are expected to produce clearance forms, Women’s University in Africa Student Identity Card and National Identity Card, Passport or Driver’s licence.
