STUDENT INTERN ARCHITECT – DEPARTMENT OF WORKS AND ESTATE DEVELOPMENT
Location: Harare Campus x 1 Post
Period: One Year Contract
RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY TASKS
• Assist in the development and implementation of project plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
• Support project managers in tracking project progress and identifying potential bottlenecks.
• Conduct research and analysis to gather data for project planning and decision-making.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, including designs, reports, presentations, and status updates.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies.
• Help organize and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
• Assist in preparing project estimates and cashflows
• Assist in managing project budgets and resources.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES

• Currently pursuing a Degree or National Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field with a recognized institution;
• Strong interest in infrastructure design and construction;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural software;
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction standards;
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings and documentation;
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
• Ability to work well in a team; and
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.
