Mobile Canteen Intern

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position that has arisen at the Women’s University in Africa.

Mobile Canteen Intern (Part-time)

Key Tasks

· Assist with food preparation, packaging and serving of meals and beverages.

· Provide excellent customer service to students, staff and visitors.

· Handle cash and mobile payments, issue receipts and balance daily sales.

· Assist with stock taking, receiving and proper storage of stock.

· Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety in the mobile canteen.

· Assist with marketing and promotion of mobile canteen products.

· Support record keeping and daily sales reporting.

· Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

· Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts/ Cookery/ Hospitality or related field will be an advantage.

· Basic knowledge of food handling and customer service.

· Honest, hardworking, and able to work under pressure.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Flexible to work during weekends and odd hours.
