TAJWAGID is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal committed to advancing African-centred scholarship on women, gender and development.
The journal examines the complex intersections of gender, diversity, equality, sexuality and power. It provides a platform for rigorous research, critical debate and praxis-oriented analysis centred on African women’s lived realities, knowledge systems and agency. The journal interrogates the gendered dimensions of development across the continent, challenges dominant paradigms and foregrounds African feminist and indigenous epistemologies.
