Women’s University in Africa (WUA), in partnership with the Centre for Organisation Leadership and Development (COLD), co-hosted a Student Leadership and Personal Development Seminar on 9 September 2026. The seminar was designed to empower students with essential leadership skills, personal development strategies, and practical knowledge to enhance their effectiveness both within the university community and beyond. The programme provided an engaging platform for students to explore leadership, self-awareness, personal growth, mentorship, and the development of skills necessary for success in their academic, professional, and personal lives.

The seminar was supported by several organisations and partners, including the Talent Exchange Group, GEM, FATE Consultancy, and the Mentorship and Coaching Circle. Their contribution strengthened the programme by bringing together diverse expertise and perspectives in leadership development, mentorship, coaching, and professional growth. Through this collaborative initiative, WUA and its partners reaffirmed their commitment to developing confident, responsible, ethical, and transformative student leaders who can contribute meaningfully to their communities and society.

The seminar forms part of WUA’s broader commitment to holistic student development, complementing academic learning with leadership, mentorship, personal development, and employability skills.
