FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT AND ENTREPRENEURIAL SCIENCES

Location: Harare Campus
Period: Full – Time

The Lecturer will report to the Departmental Chairperson.

RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY TASKS
• Teaching – the candidate is expected to teach or deliver lectures in accordance to the Department and or Faculty guidelines and standards.
• University Service and Community engagement – the candidate should participate in all Department, Faculty/School and University activities such as attending meetings, training workshops and conferences and seminars as well as conduct community engagement activities.
• Research – the candidate is expected to engage in active research in his/her area of specialization which benefits both the students and the University.
• Innovations – the candidate is expected to come up with innovations leading to tangible products and services.
• Industrialization – commercialization of products and services.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related area from a reputable institution;
• First degree in Supply Chain Management or related area from a reputable institution;
• A Professor/PhD holder in Supply Chain Management/Logistics is an added advantage;
• At least 2 years of lecturing experience in a tertiary institution;
• At least 2 years’ experience working in Supply Chain Management/Logistics related industry is an added advantage;
• Proficiency in using online learning platforms;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
• Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
