The Pro Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Research and Innovation at Women’s University in Africa, Professor Chipo Hungwe, today led WUA staff members in a clean-up campaign at the University’s Manresa Campus as part of the institution’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community responsibility.
The initiative brought together staff members in a collective effort to promote cleanliness, health, and environmental awareness within the university community. The campaign highlighted the importance of maintaining a clean and conducive learning and working environment across all WUA campuses.
Speaking during the exercise, Professor Hungwe emphasized the importance of teamwork and environmental stewardship, encouraging staff members to continue taking pride in preserving the university environment.
The clean-up campaign is not only taking place at the Manresa Campus, but is also being conducted simultaneously at Women’s University in Africa satellite campuses in Bulawayo, Mutare, Kadoma, and Marondera, demonstrating the institution’s unified commitment to creating cleaner and healthier communities nationwide.
“Together, we can build a culture of responsibility, cleanliness, and sustainability across all our campuses,” said Professor Hungwe.
