3 July 2026 Clean Up Campaign
The Women’s University in Africa (WUA) held a Clean-Up Campaign at its campus on 3 July 2026, bringing together staff and students in a collective effort to promote environmental cleanliness and sustainability. The initiative reflected the University’s commitment to maintaining a clean, healthy and safe learning environment while encouraging environmental responsibility among the university community.
Participants actively collected litter, cleared waste from campus surroundings and properly disposed of rubbish, demonstrating the importance of teamwork in protecting the environment. The campaign also served as an opportunity to raise awareness about proper waste management, recycling and the role each individual plays in keeping the campus clean.
Through such initiatives, the Women’s University in Africa continues to foster a culture of environmental stewardship, civic responsibility and sustainable practices, reinforcing the message that a clean campus is everyone’s responsibility.
