Women’s University in Africa Holds Semester 1.1 Orientation

The Women’s University in Africa successfully held its Semester 1.1 Orientation Programme today, 30 July 2026, welcoming incoming students as they embark on a new academic journey.

Addressing the students, Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor C. Hungwe, encouraged them to approach the semester with determination, discipline, and a positive mindset. He exhorted the new students to pull up their socks, remain focused on their academic goals, and gear up for a productive and rewarding semester.

Professor Hungwe also urged the students to make the most of the opportunities available at the University, embrace innovation, uphold the institution’s values, and strive for academic excellence as they prepare to become transformative leaders in their respective fields.

The orientation programme provided students with essential information on academic expectations, student support services, and campus life, equipping them for a successful start to Semester 1.1.
