Post                 :           Risk Officer

Department    :           Internal Audit          

Location         :           Harare Campus

Duration         :           Full-time

Reports to the Director, Audit and Risk.

Responsibilities/Key Tasks

1. To coordinate, identify and operationalize risk management within the University;
2. Establish risk management instruments with relevant departments;
3. Design and implement risk management framework;
4. Develop and ensure existence and implementation of risk management policy and procedures to be used by the University;
5. Development of risk profile for the University;
6. Development of risk management strategies; and
7. Mitigate, prioritization and ranking of risks.

Desired Qualifications, Experience and Attributes

1. Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Risk Management or a related degree;
2. At least three (3) years’ university experience in the Risk Management or related field;
3. Possession or studying towards a professional qualification in Risk Management will be an added advantage; and
4. Five (5) ‘O’ level subjects including Mathematics and English Language.
