Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions that have arisen at the Women’s University in Africa.
Position : Procurement Intern x 2
Reports to : Procurement Clerk
Station : Harare Campus
RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY TASKS
• Source quotations from approved suppliers in line with procurement guidelines;
• Assist in compiling and analysing comparative schedules for procurement evaluation;
• Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and requisition documents;
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and filing systems;
• Support in the preparation of procurement reports and documentation for audit purposes;
• Assist in updating supplier databases; and
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement/ Supply Chain Management/ Purchasing and Supply or a related field with a recognised institution of higher
learning;
• A minimum of five (5) Ordinary Level passes, including English Language and Mathematics;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate attention to detail;
• A high degree of integrity, professionalism, and ability to work well in a team; and
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow.
