    The WUA students’ innovation Fund is meant to enable students to conduct innovations that are inline with heritage-based education and education 5.0.

    Who Can Apply?

    Applicants must be WUA students who are registered during the current year. They must partner with a WUA full time lecturer who will supervise the project and mentor the student.

    How to Apply?

    An annual allocation is available for you subject to successful application. A proposal and Students’ Innovation Form SIF22 must be submitted for assessment of eligibility by the Grant Management Unit (GAMU).   The applicant must also complete and submit the Student Innovation Application Form SIAF23 and Students’ Innovation Contract SICF23 to GAMU.

    How Much is Allocated Each Year?

    The amount allocated for each project will be communicate each year. See here the amount allocated for the current year.

    How is the amount disbursed?

    Successful applicants will submit remittances supported by invoices. The total sum of subsequent remittances must not exceed the amount allocated for the project. Each disbursement of funds must include an acquittal of the previous remittance. See WUA Grant Management policy.
