Women’s University in Africa, Faculty of Management and Entrepreneurial Sciences Dr Mangwende and PhD student Mrs Agnes Nare presenting a paper titled Leveraging AI for achieving SDGs and sustainable economic growth in Southrn Africa.

Mrs. Nare emphasized the importance of women’s active involvement in technology and innovation spaces, noting that inclusive participation ensures that Africa’s transformation is both equitable and sustainable. Dr. Mangwende echoed these sentiments, highlighting the need for universities to strengthen interdisciplinary research and policy engagement to translate innovation into tangible development outcomes. This is happening at Makerere varsity in Kampala Uganda.
