Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position which has arisen at the Women’s University in Africa, FACULTY OF SOCIAL AND GENDER TRANSFORMATIVE SCIENCES.
The Secretary will report to the Faculty Senior Assistant Registrar.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Typing and correcting Departmental documents;
- Capturing students marks;
- Attending to telephone enquiries;
- Photocopying Departmental documents;
- Capturing minutes of meetings
- Filing Departmental documents; and
- Performing any other duties as delegated by the Faculty Senior Assistant Registrar.
Qualifications
- National Diploma in Secretarial Studies or Office Management from a recognised examination board;
- Higher National Diploma in Office Management is an added advantage;
- Five (5) O’ Levels including English Language; and
Experience
At least one (1) year experience in conducting secretarial duties in a reputable organisation.
