Vice Chancellor
Prof Hope Sadza. She is the Founder and Founding Vice Chancellor of the Women’s University in Africa.She holds a PhD in Public administration with the University of Zimbabwe where her research was on “Critical Organisational problems of administering and Managing Social Development in a newly-independent Public Service”: the case of Zimbabwe.She also holds a Masters degree in Public Administration with the University of Missouri, Columbia and BSc Public Administration with the same university.She holds a Primary Teachers Diploma with Waddilove Teachers’ College, Marondera in Zimbabwe.

Professor Sadza’s employment record backdates to 1964 as school teacher.Post Independence she became registrar of Apprenticeship Authority in the Ministry of Manpower Planning and Development in Zimbabwe.She is one of the founding Directors of the Zimbabwe Institute of Public Administration & Management (ZIPAM).In 1987 to 1989 she was Commissioner of the Public Service Review Commission, Government of Zimbabwe.In 1988 to 1990 she was Zimbabwe Parastatals Commissioner.In 1990 to 2000 she was Public Service Commissioner in Zimbabwe. Pro Vice Chancellor

Professor Charles Muchemwa Nherera joined the Women's University in Africa on 1 February 2011 as the Pro Vice Chancellor. He is a holder of a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Education from the University of London, Institute of Education in England. The Pro Vice Chancellor started his career in 1976 as a Secondary School Teacher after attaining a diploma in Technology Education from Gweru Teachers College. His quest for knowledge prompted him to further pursue a degree in Education from Exeter University in England and a Masters of Arts Degree from the University of Linkoping in Sweden. He left teaching to serve in the Planning Division of the Ministry of Education and Culture Head Office from 1981 to 1985.

Strategic Business Development Director
Mrs Semukeliso Gono is the University's Strategic Business Development Director. Mrs Gono is a holder of a Master of Business Administration from the Africa University, Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and currently studying for the Chartered Management Accountants qualification. Mrs Gono worked at the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Cooperation (ZBC) as Head Finance and administration and rose through the ranks to General Manager Finance and Corporate Affairs. Prior to joining ZBC, she worked in the Office of the President and Cabinet where she held a number of posts before being promoted to Chief Accountant. Read more...

Dean of Studies
The Dean of Studies Mrs Elizabeth Chikwiri is a holder of a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Zimbabwe. She is currently undertaking Doctoral Studies with UNISA. Mrs Chikwiri brings to the University expertise in teaching, research and administration. Her career as a teacher started way back in 1983 as a Primary School Teacher, her passion for continuous learning saw her rise through the ranks to Head Teacher in 1993, Lecturer and subsequently Lecturer in Charge at Seke Teacher's College. Mrs Chikwiri joined the Women's University in Africa as a Part time Lecturer in 2006 and became a Full time lecturer in 2007.
