Membership and Access
Membership to and priviledges to borrow library materials from the library is only restricted to registered WUA students and WUA staff.
Borrowing & Circulation
All library materials located in the Open Shelves are loaned out for one day and must be returned before the closing time of the day the item is due. All materials located in the Reserve Section are only borrowed for an hour and cannot be borrowed out. Library materials are issued out and returned at the library circulation counter. Overdue materials attract fines of US$1 per day for Open Shelves books, and US$1 per hour for books in the Reserve Section.
Copy, print and scan facilities
The library provides photocopying facilities, and charges 10c per copy for A4 paper sizes. Photocopying in the library is done in line with the national and International laws that governs copyright and intellectual property rights.
Users can obtain materials not owned by WUA library through the Interlibrary Loan Service. Please contact the Librarian for this service-
Computer Facilities in the Library
Public workstations are available in the library to provide access to the Internet and electronic resources. The computers are meant to facilitate research and access is by advance booking. The users are encouraged to observe the Library Internet Rules displayed in the Library.
Information Literacy Skills Training
Information Literacy Skills Training programme sessions that tre conducted by the Library:
Individual Based Assistance as per requiest.
Orientation Sessions are held at the beginning of each Academic Year
The Library also conducts Information Literacy Skills Training sessions during semester breaks.
