He holds a PhD in International Trade. He is an independent research consultant in trade, regional and economic cooperation. He is responsible for the quality of Trades Centre research products.
Formerly he was a top official in the Ministry of Industry and International Trade with the government of Zimbabwe. Thereafter he became the Chief Executive of Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce. He holds other positions of responsibility.
He has specialised expertise in international trade and regional integration. He is member of the Zimbabwe Institute of Management (MZIM) and the Royal Economic Society.
