Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Deputy Registrar Human Resources and Administration which has risen at the Women’s University in Africa, Harare campus.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ JOB DESCRIPTION/KEY TASKS
- Providing strategic guidance and support to management in human resources and administration systems, policies and procedures;
- Labour Relations Systems and Administration;
- Supervising human resources and administration officers;
- Developing and implementing organizational communication systems and procedures;
- Production of annual reports and administrative budgets;
- Administration of Seminars and workshops;
- Carrying out Research on Job descriptions and Organizational structures;
- Carrying out Performance Appraisals;
- Drafting appointments, performance, advancement, regarding, training and promoting procedures;
- Payroll administration, pension system;
- Carrying out salary reviews and cost of cost living adjustments;
- Monitoring and evaluating promotions and advancements;
- Recruiting, selection, placement, promoting and advancement of staff;
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Registrar from time to time.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- First degree in Human Resources;
- Masters degree in a related field;
- IPMZ qualification;
- 5 years academic institutional experience;
- Knowledge of the Payday payroll system an added advantage.
