The Women’s University in Africa is a private institution with its headquarters in Harare, Zimbabwe and is governed by a Board of Trustees. It enrols mature female and male students with the relevant qualifications. - At least a good Diploma or Certificate in Agriculture or Veterinary Science from a recognised institution after attaining a minimum of five ‘O’ level passes including English Language, Mathematics, Account or Commerce and Science or Agriculture plus two years relevant working experience.
- For c) above at least two Advanced Level passes in any of the following subjects: Management of Business, Agriculture, Mathematics, Accounts or Economics,
Or
- At least a good Diploma or Certificate in Agriculture or Accounting or its equivalent after attaining at least five Ordinary Level passes that include English Language, Mathematics, Accounts or Commerce, Science or Agriculture plus relevant working experience.
- NB. A bridging course will be offered to those without Mathematics.
- Lectures will be conducted both in Harare and Marondera.

- Possession of a Certificate/Diploma in a related area such as Education, Nursing, Personnel Management, Social Work, Theology, etc is an added advantage.
- For B.Ed. (Early Childhood Development) applicants should have a Certificate/Diploma in Pre-School or Early Childhood Education in addition to the minimum entry requirements
- For B.Ed. Primary, a minimum of five ‘O’ level passes including English Language. Applicants should have a Diploma in Education in addition to the minimum entry requirements
- For Women’s and Gender Studies, a minimum of five ‘O’ level passes including English Language. Possession of a professional certificate or diploma is an added advantage. Applicants below 25 years should have passed 2 A level subjects in Social Sciences or Humanities

HOW TO APPLYApplication forms can be obtained from the University upon payment of a non-refundable application fee of USD30 for Zimbabwean applicants and USD50 for International applicants reviewed from time to time. Alternatively the forms may be downloaded from the WUA website: www.wua.ac.zw and submitted with proof of payment of the application fee. The application should then be submitted together with certified copies of national ID card, birth certificate and educational certificates.
