Strategic Business Development Director |
 Mrs Semukeliso Gono is the University's Strategic Business Development Director. Mrs Gono is a holder of a Master of Business Administration from the Africa University, Higher National Diploma in Business Administration and currently studying for the Chartered Management Accountants qualification. Mrs Gono worked at the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Cooperation (ZBC) as Head Finance and administration and rose through the ranks to General Manager Finance and Corporate Affairs. Prior to joining ZBC, she worked in the Office of the President and Cabinet where she held a number of posts before being promoted to Chief Accountant.
Mrs Gono brings to the Women's University in Africa a wealthy of experience in Administration and Financial Management. She is a Board Member of the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe, as well as Jongwe Printing and Publishing Company. She is also a member of the Parastatals and State Owned Enterprises Advisory Council. Mrs Gono is married and has three children.
